Pray For Those Who Persecute You.

It took me 24 hours to settle down after I read the article, seriously I was furious to say the least and I had to refocus and realize the fact that he was lost to say the least. Help me Jesus, through your eyes, it has to be through your eyes that I see.

I am referring to the article in the Brisbane Courier Mail News Paper this week on Thursday, The headline " Jesus swayed me . " LNP'S Ewen Jones Makes the following statement in regards to the topic of Legalizing Gay Marriage.   " I am not particularly religious but I cannot see how Jesus would stop two people who love each other from marrying. " 

It was today that I decided to write an article about the this man and his statement. I said to the Lord " how do I write this article?" and he dropped into my spirit the following scripture and it was then I realized it was not an article I was to write, it was a Prayer. I realized that what it was that I felt about this statement from Ewen was persecution, I know that the Bible is the true word of God and so when I hear it down played in any way it concerns me.

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 

The reason why evil gains ground is because good men do nothing and Christians generally don't pray.

I ask You the reader, to join with me in the following prayer as it is seriously time to cry out.

Father we submit to your will and in obedience to your word we lift up Ewen Jones along with every politician that walks the floors of our Government House in Canberra that would seek to violate your word in regards to Marriage. We ask Lord that your Spirit would right now begin to move through every room of Parliament house and into every mind of every person from the cleaners that clean, to the Prime Minister who governs and that they would begin to sense your presence Lord. That the Politicians that are soon to vote on this topic of Gay Marriage would look at it through the eyes of Jesus, through your word and that the truth would convict them to vote according to your will. Lord your word is truth and your word says the truth will set the people free and right now Lord these Politicians are not seeing the truth and therefore are not free, set them free Lord from the bondage that holds them, open their eyes Lord and let your will be done Lord In this Great south Land Of The Holy Spirit. Amen, thank you Jesus.
