Vatican Christmas Shocker! Pope says child rape isn't that bad, was normal back in his day
by Logan Anderson
Last Christmas The Belfast Telegraph reported the following article regarding the Pope's Christmas address for 2010 to cardinals and officials in Rome ... quoting him as saying that paedophilia wasn't considered an "absolute evil" in the 1970's, and that child pornography was increasingly considered "normal" by society.
The article reveals and confirms the absolute denial of Absolute Truth and 'right' and 'wrong' and accountability that continues to be the stance maintained by the Vatican ... not only in regard to historical and continuing sex abuse committed by the Roman Catholic Church ... but in a far wider context ... suggests the denial of Absolute Good represented in the person of The Lord Jesus Christ, and the Absolute Evil represented in Satan
The article reads ...
Victims of clerical sex abuse have reacted furiously to Pope Benedict's claim yesterday that paedophilia wasn't considered an "absolute evil" as recently as the 1970s.
In his traditional Christmas address yesterday to cardinals and officials working in Rome, Pope Benedict XVI also claimed that child pornography was increasingly considered "normal" by society.
"In the 1970s, paedophilia was theorised
as something fully in conformity with man
and even with children" the Pope said.
"It was maintained - even within the realm of Catholic theology - that there is no such thing as evil in itself or good in itself. There is only a 'better than' and a 'worse than'. Nothing is good or bad in itself."
