As It Was in the Days of Sodom and Gomorrah

Never
would I have believed that the truths of the Bible
pertaining to the last days of time would ever find their
relevance and fulfilment to the degree and level they have. For
example, as a child I was told that the Bible prophesied "as
it was in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah so it will be in the
days future when the Lord is about to return". I had known
the facts concerning this, as simply information alone but not as
reality, and to be truthful I did not ever think the total
reality of the scriptural portrayal could become literal. Little
did I know that one generation on, that which I had been told as
a child would then and now become an actuality.

The society in which we now live is so changed and different
from my childhood days that in many ways it is unrecognisable.
Not everything is bad there are some good aspects to change but
like everything there is always and upside as well as a downside.
The fact is all negative trends in society can be counteracted so
long as all of society accepts a common medium by which it can be
governed, but when society loses its common measure and every man
has a different standard, then whose standard do you govern
with.

Today’s greatest problem in my estimation is attributed
to this very issue. As the Bible states, when a godless society
prevails "EVERY MAN DOES THAT WHICH IS RIGHT IN HIS OWN
EYES" and then subsequently "BECAUSE SENTENCE IS NOT
EXECUTED SPEEDILY AGAINST AN EVIL MATTER THEREFORE THE HEARTS OF
THE CHILDREN OR NEXT GENERATION IS SET TOWARD DOING EVIL. What it
is saying is that if we do not teach a common standard of what is
right and wrong to our children, then the next generation will
have no moral compass by which to guide itself. The result will
be every one will do what he considers acceptable to him only and
not what is good for the corporate society.

So now our society is governed by a standard of anything goes,
and what was in one generation earlier considered obnoxious and
offensive is now considered the norm. It is very interesting in
the book of Revelation it talks of a doctrine that was acceptable
to a contemporary church which was considered anathema to the
fathers of the same church a generation prior. The writer of
Revelation records The Lord saying the people allowed or
tolerated an ungodly doctrine which because of a lack of reaction
to it from the righteous folk of that day, caused it to be
condoned as acceptable. The Bible further states, the next
generation following that one before it (the third generation) no
longer just accepts it but now this group preach it as Godly
endorsed doctrine.

It all started because no godly one would challenge the error
and wrong, but in stead tolerated, what then became acceptable,
which in turn became embellished truth endorsed as Godly
doctrine. The fact is, I can name many instances of ideologies
and beliefs that are now considered acceptable, whereas a decade
or so ago not only were they considered abhorrent but actually
anathema or despicable to God

Some of the unsanctified issues and relevant factors that the
godly have directly contributed to in regard to causing the
dilution of truth and justice and the acceptance and endorsement
of evil, thus justifying the above are as follows:

The foregoing list of issues DEVOID OF THEIR SUBSEQUENT
REMEDIES has allowed an anti Christ spirit to take hold of our
generation and we have sold our soul to the ferryman who in turn
will escort it to a future of tyranny and enslavement. If the
church had taken a stand and protested from a Biblical worldview
then these wrongs listed above, could have been righted. But will
the church public stand up for that which is right. I think
not.

If you analyse that list above, you realise, all it would have
taken to counteract the negative influences affecting our western
society is for a body of believers to rise up and insist that all
creation remain accountable to God and His Word the Bible.

Because of the tall poppy syndrome people are too afraid of
rejection or of being thought foolish, so the average member of
any public body or church will not stand out and raise his voice
against what is known to be wrong. His fear of man controls his
morality, indirectly, in that he then becomes immobilised and
paralysed unable to challenge sin and error.

BANNED IN CALIFORNIAN SCHOOLS

What started out as a prediction less than one year ago has
become a reality thanks to California's lawmakers and liberal
Republican Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

In December 2006, author and political consultant
Nathan Tabor wrote a story about the words
"mom" and "dad" being banned in the United
Kingdom. The British law prohibits nurses and hospitals
from using the terms "mom," "dad,"
"wife," "husband," or "married."
"As part of Britain's National Health Service's new,
politically correct policy guide, use of the above terms is
considered homophobic and therefore requires anti-homophobic
rules for their health care workers. Therefore, words such as mum
and dad are banned," Tabor quoted a reporter from
England's Daily Mail as saying. Tabor ended his story about
Britain's path to political correctness by stating, "If
Americans think these activities are peculiar to the United
Kingdom, they better think again." Surprisingly, it's
taken less than a year for this politically-correct insanity to
reach the United States. I knew it would happen; I just
didn't suspect it would happen this quickly," said
political consultant Michael Baker.

The terms "mom and dad" are now completely
banned in California's school system and teachers
are being ordered to use euphemisms for those terms. In addition,
"husband and wife" are also banned under this new law
signed by Gov. Schwarzenegger. The newly signed law also
mandates public schools to allow boys to use girls restrooms and
locker rooms, and vice versa, if they choose to do
so.

"We [teachers] give the kids lunches, we teach them how
to use condoms, we instruct them about sex including gay sex, we
simulate Islam, and in our spare time we teach our pupils how to
read and write," she said. "More and more Americans are
starting to wake up to find their country and its traditions
being slowly torn down by those who worship at the altar of the
politically-correct orthodoxy," claims political strategist
Baker.

"I shudder to think how millions of California children
will be led astray, how marriage will be destroyed, and how
immorality will step on the neck of morality when Governor
Schwarzenegger signs five anti-family bills into law.
"Meanwhile, homosexuals are given a free hand to do whatever
they want to America's little children. They know
that the church leadership is totally asleep at the
wheel, said a New Jersey Methodist pastor.

With this decision, Gov. Schwarzenegger has told parents that
their values are irrelevant. Many parents will have no choice but
to pull their children out of the public schools that have now
become sexualized indoctrination centres. Thomason is
disappointed with California's Christian pastors and elders.
In the last five days, many individuals and several businesses
have responded to CCF's action alert. However, to
date, only one church out of thousands, has faxed in veto letters
to the liberal Schwarzenegger's office in Sacramento.

"This is not right, since the majority of pastors in
California oppose sexual indoctrination of schoolchildren

The bills signed by Schwarzenegger ban anything in public
schools that could be interpreted as negative toward
homosexuality, bisexuality and other alternative lifestyle
choices. There are no similar protections for students with
traditional or conservative lifestyles and beliefs, however. In
Portland, Oregon, a recent 20/20 program aired a piece about
little boys and girls playfully slapping each other on the
buttocks. The cops arrested the boys -- Cory Mashburn, and Ryan
Cornelison -- for touching the girls (but didn't arrest any
girls), and now Schwarzenegger signes a Bill into law that allows
girls and boys to go into each other's bathrooms.

"Are the cops ever going to wake up and stop following
these insane orders for a paycheck?" asked Lt. Steve Rogers,
the former president of The God Squad, a Christian organization
for police officers. Conservative activist Mike Baker said,
"The church leadership is insane for their political
correctness. Your political leaders are insane for passing these
laws. Your district attorneys are insane for prosecuting these
senseless cases, and cops are insane for enforcing these insane
laws."

offering a new major in what amounts to homosexual studies.
