A variety of occurrences have caused us to make some major
changes to The Omega Times. The major one of these is my having
undergone sugery in November 2007 for stomach cancer which
removed 90% of my stomach. I have found the path back to full
strength to be a long and still unfulfilled one. Medically, the
doctors don’t believe I have a future. Unfortunately, they
were never taught in Medical School that "by His stripes
I am healed!" I expect to serve the Lord for a long
time yet.

Because we work with a skeleton staff, we have enormous
pressure on us to research, edit, and produce a magazine of this
quality. The indifference of the Christian Church at large,
especially leadership, to the end times message, has resulted in
falling subscriptions and an almost complete breakdown of the
Public Meeting format which in Barry Smith’s time, produced
a double advantage - new people embracing end times teaching and
a continuous stream of new believers coming to Christ.

The question Brian and I now face is "What do we
do?" especially when I have been told to rest by every
Doctor and had every Prophet of God telling me the same
thing.

We have really considered closing the whole ministry, because
so much of the effort relies on my input, and no qualified
helpers have appeared on the horizon. Adding to our difficulty is
the fact that we have taken a lot of forward subscriptions which
we need to honour, even though the ministry is in desperate need
of donations as we are running at a loss. Rising costs and
relatively small circulation are not a good financial recipe in
the modern world. More information regarding future issues will
be found in a flyer inserted in this magazine.

We are still committed to giving you the best, up-to-date
information on the implementation of End Times prophecy in the
religious, social, political and economic arenas of our
world.

We will also continue with Prophetic teaching and be the
watchmen on the walls, telling it like it is to a sick and dying
world. Finally, we can only continue with strong support, and to
the end, Brian and I thank you and bless you for your much
