Earth Changes – A World in Crisis

The
Bible declares the earth will go through many devastating
changes until finally in its last death throes, it will reel to
and fro like a drunken man and shall fall from its axis and shall
never rise again. If we believe God is the Supreme Being that
placed the earth and stars in the heavens and formed the universe
then we must accept, He knows the solution to this worlds
physical and natural degeneration.

I refer to the law of atrophy, the law that science tells us
is in force with every thing we see in existence. Atrophy means
that all we see is in a continual state of degeneration and self
destruction. We know that to be true, but what we do not know to
be true without reference to the Word of God is that there is
another dimension which we do not see and that dimension is
eternal and does not decay.

It is called in the Bible, Heaven or the Kingdom of God, where
everything is more real than it is here, yet is a spiritual
reality not visible to human eyes. When you read the Bible you
realize what the Lord does is not affected at all by atrophy. For
example, the glory of Gods’ latter house will be greater
than the former house. God removed the former Covenant to give a
better one. Concerning the water turned into wine the best was
kept till last. These are just a few instances from Scripture.
Man always dishes out the best first to entice, God always
admonishes us the best is yet to come.

If all this is true then it should cause us to be
single-minded to strive to enter the Kingdom of God for not only
is it the only way to enjoy an existence without atrophy, but it
is also the only way to avoid the state of eternal decay. Imagine
if eternity was subject to atrophy, where we were dwelling in a
place where the surroundings are in a continual process of
breakdown and destruction. Because the spirit realm is
indestructible, this cannot be - it can never see decay.

This also applies to the place the Bible describes as hell.
There has to be an eternal place for those spirits who have
chosen not to spend it with the Supreme God who created all this
goodness. Hell is simply the place where there is no love, no
pity, no friendship, no forgiveness, no truth, no honour, and no
justice. Everything our God is not, is what hell is, and he who
goes there goes by his own election, as he in life declared
"I don’t want anything to do with God."

God Himself is the source of life, therefore hell has to be
the opposite - the place of death. God is light therefore hell
has to be a place of darkness. God is Holy, so hell has to be an
abode of sin and evil. We should remember that sin has eternal
consequences. That is truer than we realize for sin, if not
forgiven, will continue its destructive effects forever, but only
in a walled pit called the abyss, where its effects will be
confined to only those trapped within it.

God is a creator so His dwelling place will always be one of
expansion. Hell is the opposite – it’s a place of
declension. But how can a spirit be always declining as it is
eternal. The answer must be that it must be a place where it is
ever in a state of atrophy but never diminishing. A place of
constant confusion and paradox, tearing itself apart yet never
consumed. And remember only God can forgive and erase sins from
ones memory as well as its consequences from creation, so without
God’s ability to erase it from our memory we will remember
it and regret it with remorse for all eternity.

No wonder there will be weeping and wailing and gnashing of
teeth there. Hell has to be a place of fire, for fire is what
devours and consumes like no other force of destruction. Even the
atom bomb is a process of fire, yet because hell is a place of
eternal existence it will continue forever, yet never burn
up.

Our world is in its death throes. Science has found that the
earth is under terrible pressure at its equator. This is not only
because of the tidal pull of the moon and the force exerted upon
it but also by the process of centrifugal force which applies the
greatest pull outward at its widest spinning position. The result
of all this pressure creates a distortion at the equatorial
region of planet earth and the earth’s girth is distorting
immensely and buckling rather violently.

The scripture quoted at the beginning of this article,
Isaiah 24:20, talks of the earth reeling to and fro like a drunken man
and then falling off her axis never to rise again. One of the
issues science is debating at the moment is this very thing - the
earth spinning off its axis. One of the titles for this
scientific discovery is entitled the Chandler wobble.

Chandler was the name of the man who recognized the problem
many years ago. It has become much more of a serious topic for
discussion now as the polar caps are changing and the magnetic
points and fields of the earth are all now collapsing at an
alarming rate, and as a result they have found and concluded that
the earth is about to flip on its axis.

They say it is not a matter of if it will happen, but a matter
of when it will happen as there is no way of stopping it now. The
earths’ inner core is solid, the earths’ crust
measured in multiples of miles is solid also, but between the two
layers there a molten mass of lava or magma. This allows the
crust or surface of the earth to swivel over the core like a
giant gyroscope, and should the ratios of weight and mass change
dramatically so will the direction and rotation of the
earths’ crust.

They maintain it has happened in earths’ history before
and suggest it took place because of calculations and changes at
the time of Noah. Be that as it may one thing is for sure, the
Word of God is true and needs to be read as fact not assumption,
because these things will happen.

Another major geological change taking place at present is
that of the continental shelf of Africa which is breaking up and
northern Africa is splitting apart from the south in turn
creating a huge valley which will allow the oceans’ seas to
flow in to it. It is separating at an alarming rate. Scientists
have been traveling to Ethiopia to view what is known as the
Ethiopian rift. The rending of the earth’s surface is
happening before their very eyes.

Here is an excerpt of their findings with commentary – A
volcanic mantle is rising beneath Africa splitting the continent
apart. According to researchers, it will create a new ocean. The
crack in the earths’ surface runs for 2,000kms from Malawi,
through Tanzania, Kenya and Ethiopia, to link-up with the Red Sea
and the Gulf of Aden. The top of the Red Sea lines up with the
valley of the Dead Sea, the lowest spot on earth, into which the
Jordan river flows, some 30kms East of Jerusalem, down from the
Sea of Galilee.

This introduces the prophecy of Zechariah and Ezekiel. In
Zechariah 14:2-11 God says - "For I will gather all the
nations to Jerusalem. The city will be taken, houses plundered,
women ravished. Half the city will go into captivity"...
"On that day His feet will rest on the Mt. of Olives which
faces Jerusalem from the East. The Mt. of Olives will be split in
two from East to West, forming a very huge sea." When
that Day comes, living waters will issue from Jerusalem, half of
them to the Eastern (original) sea, and half to the Western sea
(Mediterranean, 55km West, Tel Aviv, Jaffa). Ezekiel 38 describes
this same awesome event.

Looking at the geography of the area mentioned in the Bible
above, and its relation to the rift mentioned in our news
article, stretching across Africa right up to the Jordan Valley,
30kms East of Jerusalem, it is meaningful that the great gorge
mentioned in Zech 14:4, which will be formed by the splitting of
the Mt. of Olives, will run to the West (Mediterranean Sea) and
the East (Jordan Valley rift) carrying waters from Jerusalem. Is
it coincidence that this prophecy speaks of the water running
into the Eastern (original) ‘sea’?
