Global Warming - Global Warning
There is huge debate taking place right now over the authenticity of the scientific discussion relating to the subject of Global Warming. Many renowned scientific men and respected groups have put forward one accumulation of facts and figures to validate their point of view concerning the seriousness of this issue, while the other group of equally notable minds challenges from the opposite end of the spectrum, contradicting the findings and theories of the first group.
Who is right and who is wrong? Can we be sure? What is the truth and what is false? My whole summation on the subject is exactly the same as my approach to the issue of science and creation and philosophy and doctrine. I am not interested in what human minds concoct, or conclude, no matter how much they are respected and honored by their peers. What I am interested in is what does the truth of God’s Word itself have to say on the matter. Science does not establish truth it only vindicates it at best. Truth however, does establish science, and God’s Word is absolute truth, contrary to what most liberal, modernistic, contemporary church preachers tell us.
Thomas Jefferson once said. "If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, it expects what never was and never will be. The people cannot be safe without information. Where the press is free, and every man is able and willing to read, all is safe."
In other words he is saying you cannot totally rely on the information supplied by another to be authentic without first validating it yourself. If you don’t investigate the facts as well, then you are a fool open to all manner of influence and extortion and every potentially divisive and destructive heresy, which will lead to your ultimate demise.
Al Gore
The intellectual debate rages on. Al Gore makes a fortune preaching his ecological spiel letting the world know his concern for our world and its failing resources. Never mind the fact that he as much as anyone, whilst in power in Clinton’s administration, helped promote and enforce the plunderous rape and pillage of global commodities and communities for the ever widening jaws of America’s debauched economic greed.
He as much as anyone could have raised a voice to denounce the insatiable appetites of the wealthy elite in the halls of international political and monetary power. But alas, like all the so-called social do-gooders and saviours of our fallen society, it is always after they have made their fortunes and set themselves on their self-established moral thrones, that they suddenly become aware of the needs of the under privileged who can’t speak for themselves. What a farce! He who formulates the policies normally benefits from them.
Most of our police and politicians lambasted and berated the baby boomers in the sixties for their antiwar, anti-government protest mentality, but at least there was a conscience inflamed enough to stir the common masses against the abuses and violations of power. Where is that same conscience now? Are we so blind and immunized by our lust for things, and for peace at any price, that we dare not lift ourselves from our beds of leisure least we trigger a ripple of disturbance on our otherwise tranquil sea of apathy?
Gore like Clinton, as will become Bush and Blair and Howard, have made the transition from the despotic masters they really are to future global advisors and saviours of our tomorrow. We, like a ship of fools, feed at their pig trough of delusion laid out to placate us.
What in heavens name would have us believe that these men, who sold our future for their benefit, and lined their pockets from our labour and in the process enslaved society with tax and war, should be given any further opportunity to then peddle their propaganda? How ridiculous that we grant them further power on a global stage of influence and respect, to not only lead us blind sheep of innocence, but also to influence and subjugate the global masses to their insidious bondage and slavery. Will we ever learn?
As has already been stated from the historical warnings of many before our time "The only lesson we have ever learned from history, is that we never learn from history." Some day someone will wake up and ask the simple question, "What do we actually believe and why?" Then maybe, just maybe, we will turn ourselves around before it is too late. "Not to oppose error is to approve it, and not to defend Truth is to suppress it; and, indeed, to neglect to confound evil men — when we can — is no less a sin than to encourage them." (Pope St. Felix III - 5th Century)
All of these concerned scholarly politicians are by and large the very same folk who through their policies created the environmental crisis in the first place and now we elect them as the new messiahs of change and entrust them with the duty of correcting the anomalies of their own creation. Who are we fooling? Only ourselves!
Samuel Adams once spoke these words and we had better heed them "If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." If we do not heed these words of warning we will be doomed to live the ensuing tyranny that follows our ignorance of them.
Society as we know it, especially Christian society, has taken the truth of subservience to its extreme, in that it now accepts everything meted out to it as acceptable and never to be questioned. It is a foolish mindset of indoctrination to manipulate our instincts of implicit trust, that those who have the charge of us must be good people with our best interests at heart, because they obviously have the power and intellect to be in the position to advise us of what we ourselves are ignorant.
This is the insanity of the blind leading the blind, never doing the hard yards of research for ourselves or being willing to investigate comparative thinking but, in turn, relying upon the regurgitated vomit of ungodly, unproven and unregenerate, humanistic thinking.
When will we ever learn and when will we ask the right questions to determine the truth of these matters? Hitler once said, "Oh how fortunate for us that men in general never question why." The fact that the Bible is considered to be the book of truth should somehow motivate Christians, you would think, to search out what it says concerning a matter. Alas, this is not so, particularly in regard to future survival on this planet. We continue to swallow the same political and economic line fed to us by our peers, who are trained to lead us like lambs to the slaughter, whilst we passive, unquestioning God fearing folk bless and thank them for it.
Let me inform you if you are not aware already, their agenda for your wellness and the course down which you will be led, is not one you will readily choose once you become enlightened as to what it entails by way of your sacrifice, loss of freedom and personal denegration.
Well then, what does the Bible actually state concerning the issue of Global Warming? Are there any actual references to this plight, we as a generation now face? Let’s look at some Scripture and you will quickly see that there is clear evidence in the Bible substantiating the fact that nature itself will be in turmoil at this end of the age. Here are some, of many examples –
2 Peter 3:10 "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are therein shall be burned up."
2 Peter 3:12 "Looking for and earnestly desiring the coming of the day of God, by reason of which the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?"
The Bible tells us that the heavens will catch on fire and shall be consumed. The only way that can happen is if the elements which make up our atmosphere become imbalanced so as to create a major inferno with combustible gases outweighing neutral gases. Surely that suggests our planets’ atmosphere is going to change considerably until its components become combustible.
The Scripture tells us that as we near the coming of the Lord, nature itself would have birthing pangs and go through a period of immense travail and metamorphosis that will bring about a transformation of earth (Revelation 6:12-14).
There is so much that points to the fact of a major catastrophe which will unleash a terrible explosion in the heavens, subsequently rending the heavens apart, distorting the earths crust, and shaking the whole of earth off its axis (Isaiah 24:1 and Isaiah 24:20).
Luke 21:26 "Men fainting for fear, and for expectation of the things which are coming on the world: for the powers of the heavens shall be shaken."
Mark 13:25 "The stars shall be falling from heaven, and the powers that are in the heavens shall be shaken."
In the Gospel of Luke it tells us that men are going to tremble with fear because of what is happening in the heavens and that the effect will cause our weather and seas to be in abnormal turmoil. Mankind will be in distress and anxiety, not knowing what to do and with perplexity and confusion.
Does that not sound like what we are facing right now in our unusual weather patterns upon the earth? Two words used in Scripture to describe this present age, are vexation - meaning to be in ‘absolute confusion - not knowing what to do’ and perplexity – meaning to be ‘absolutely distressed without an answer, troubled because there is no conclusion.’ What a portrayal of our present dilemma concerning the lack of answers regarding GLOBAL WARMING, or whatever you want to call it. Perhaps a better term would be "Prophetic consequences of man’s destruction of God’s creation".
Luke 21:25 "And there shall be signs in the sun and moon and stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity for the roaring of the sea and the billows;"
A book published way back in 1973 entitled ‘The Doomsday Globe’ made some amazingly accurate predictions concerning the ultimate destiny of earth in the immediate future. Let me quote one small portion - "The dream of 30 years ago of a manmade utopia seem to have vanished, replaced by the prospective nightmare of a burnt out planet depleted of natural resources, with an undernourished starving populace fighting for survival".
If that is not now relevant, and a near estimate and accurate appraisal of the way things are, then I guess I am also totally out of step. But does it not make you wonder? If they were saying these things in 1973 and the reality is now upon us, then why do we keep on excusing it as nonsense and evading it as a non-issue.
Whether you want to face it or not, the Bible says man will ultimately destroy everything and except God shorten these days no one will be left alive on planet earth.
The way we, in the affluent, arrogant West have plundered and abused the worlds’ resources for the insatiable appetite of big business profit and bottom line is nothing short of diabolic. We now have to face the prospect in the West of living like the Third World, whom we turned a blind eye toward when sanctioning this madness with our silence justifying the greed.
Sadly, we are still doing so, but the day of accounting has arrived. Added to this scenario is the fact that scalar technology and weather modification can be used to create rain in places of drought. Unfortunately, the folly of big government would rather deny the existence of such technology and keep it secret, so that it remains a technology in the arsenal of military weaponry.
We fail to recognise or understand two things:
- The resources of the planet are finite and
- The capacity of the environment to renew these resources that are depleted and to repair the damage caused by their exploitation is limited and rapidly decreasing.
Back in 1971, on the 21st of May, an advert was placed in many of the Australian national papers concerning Australia’s future destiny. It was written and signed by 748 leading scientists. They said, "For biological and ecological reasons, civilisation based on present western technology can not survive much longer. Careful forethought and a willingness to embrace fundamental changes are necessary if civilisation is to survive at all. Australia’s opportunity to examine and implement these fundamental changes before it is to late may be unique. The responsibility is great and the task is urgent." But what did we do? PRECISELY NOTHING!
We concentrated our efforts on finding a way to continue our lifestyle and justify our O.E.C.D. standard of living. These same scientists warned a global crisis was absolutely guaranteed, with a food, energy and oil disaster inevitable. But remember all of this has been carefully orchestrated by our socialist masters, condoned and perpetrated because of our silent acquiescence.
Another biblical prediction concerns the Islands disappearing into the sea. Could it be that the prophecies are declaring the rise of the oceans rather than the sinking of the land mass? If you viewed the aerial photos of Antarctica taken only a few short years ago, and compared them with the present, you will be staggered at the loss of ice on the ice shelf, as it is disappearing and breaking away at a huge and alarming rate.
Then there is the matter of plant life dying as a result of flora no longer being able to continue the process of photosynthesis. Revelation 8:7 speaks of the skies being darkened and the sun ceasing to give her light for the creation of energy. Revelation 8:9 mentions a third of all life in the seas dying as life cannot be sustained because of the poison and pollution.
Could this be God judging man, casting his own pollution back upon him? And what about the predictions in the Book of Revelation concerning the harmful rays of the sun filtering through to create lesions and sores on the surface of mans skin? The Scripture also predicts the sun scorching the earth and the earth getting hotter in the days of the end of time.
So once again, let me say - you be the judge on this matter.
