InterFaith - The Devil's End Time Strategy
Jesus said
in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the
life. No one comes to the Father except through me." In the
plainest language Jesus is saying that no-one can come to God,
unless it be through the shed Blood of the Lamb of God, who died
on Calvary, in whom man might be set free of sin and reconciled
to the Father. That’s basic Gospel! Furthermore, this
statement is either true or false. If true, and I wholeheartedly
believe it is through overwhelming weight of evidence, then there
is no compromise, or dialogue to be had with those in error,
other than to evangelise them.
Try telling that to the latest bunch of antichrist’s who
have burst in on the religious scene with the doctrinal ABomb
called Interfaith. What actually is Interfaith? It is the latest
effort by those who promote Ecumenism, a stalking horse for a One
World Church, to foist on a gullible Christian world, the need to
embrace in unity and offer respect to every alternative
religion.
You may think that because you don’t agree with
Interfaith principles that is enough. No – it’s not!
The very reason we are in this place is because the Christian
Church is asleep at the wheel. Let me remind you of the Bible
principle. In the Old Testament, when Israel were about to enter
the land given to them by God Himself, the command was given to
eradicate completely, every single tribe and community that lived
there. Israel failed in this and as a consequence suffered
terribly because of their disobedience.
The Bible teaches "first the natural, then the spiritual."
Every Old Testament story is a natural picture of a spiritual
truth that applies to every New Testament believer. In this
dispensation of Grace, we are not called to physically kill the
enemies of God, but to fight in prayer and spiritual warfare.
This is clearly taught to us in Ephesians 6:12 which says –
"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against
principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the
darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in
the heavenly places."
In my observations, apart from small pockets of faithful
intercessors, this principle is not being pursued by the wider
Church. Now the enemy is even at the gates, and the question is
– "Will the true Church of Jesus Christ survive." I am
increasingly coming to the view that we are rapidly coming to a
separation of the Church, with the true Church marginalised, and
the harlot Church growing like the tare it surely is. Let me now
demonstrate to you the almost missionary-like zeal in which
Interfaith is being promoted.

I am writing this approaching the 2nd weekend of March. I have
just been made aware of a huge Interfaith event being held this
coming weekend at Maleny in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. The
programme includes all shades of religion including Pentecostal,
Islam, Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh, Bahai’i, Jewish etc. Pastor
Dave Connett, a Pentecostal, and Rev John Sweetman, a Baptist are
attending, presumably as speakers.
My question is this. What benefit will this bring to the true
Christian Church? If the Christians attending were to share the
Scripture that heads up this article, then I would have no axe to
grind, because we have been called to preach the Gospel to all
the Earth. If they are there as compromisers, willing to jump
into the adulterous bed of "spiritual fornication" then I grieve
for them.
Every month now, I receive an invitation from the Multi- Faith
Centre at Griffith University, Nathan Qld, to come to a Forum
which always involves people from various religions sharing and
dialoguing on their faith. That’s a little like the
Philistines inviting the Jews over for lunch. It didn’t
happen then and it shouldn’t happen now.
I have just received a cutting from the Courier Mail dated
December 12, which a subscriber sent me. It records the fact that
Melbourne has clinched the right to host in December 2009 the
"Olympic Games" of spirituality, more formally known as the
Parliament of World Religions. This is the world’s largest
Interfaith event, expected to draw 10,000 visitors to Melbourne
and inject $75 million into the economy. The Parliament of
World’s Religions was first held in Chicago in 1893, at the
time of the Worlds Fair, and was revived 100 years later,
attracting religious leaders such as the Dalai Lama.
Perhaps you think this will be a phase or a whim that will
soon blow over. Think again. The Bible teaches that satan has
come to kill, steal and destroy. Anything not of the Lord must
belong to the enemy. This Interfaith movement is now at the
highest levels of government. I have before me an invitation
addressed to me under a Queensland Government logo. It invites my
wife and myself to join the Premier of Queensland, the Honourable
Peter Beattie MP, to the 2007 Australia Day Multi-Faith Ceremony
to be held at the Nepalese Peace Pagoda, South Bank
Parklands.
Compromise is a disgusting thing, especially in a spiritual
sense. If you don’t stand for something, you’ll put
up with anything. This is a by-product of a Laodicean Church
spirit, where lukewarmness allows the world to go by and enemies
to arise against the Church, with no heart or strength to oppose
it. Which reminds me – I haven’t heard Onward
Christian Soldiers sung for years. I wonder why?
