Freemasons - Part 4
In this
final installment on the Masonic Lodge, I will
illustrate and explain the various grips or handshakes that
enable Masons to identify another Mason. We will close this
series with some quotes from two of the leading lights of
Freemasonry, to show in their own words, not mine, the demonic,
antichrist underbelly of Freemasonry. Before I begin, I should
lay a small introduction to refresh reader’s minds as to
the origins of Freemasonry.
Masonry began in the 13th century as a union of cathedral
builders working as stone masons, who began to meet for mutual
support in "lodges." With the decline of their primary work,
masons began to accept honorary members to bolster membership,
and began to adopt the rites of ancient religions.
Officially, Freemasonry was born in 1717 when a meeting of 4
Craft Lodges met at the Apple Tree Tavern in London to set up a
constitution for Free and Accepted Masons. Besides a claim of
connections back to Egypt and Babylon, they honoured the
stonecutters from Solomon’s time, and especially Hiram
Abiff, who made a death-defying refusal to reveal trade secrets
to intruders and strangers.
In Part 2 in the October issue of The Omega Times, I listed
the oaths and penalties associated with the first 3 degrees of
Freemasonry, when a candidate is inducted into the Craft. The
history of these penalties are found in the fable of Hiram Abiff.
Hiram is supposedly the inhabitant of Tyre found in 1 Kings 7 in
the Bible.
Masonic history records that Hiram was a worker in brass
during the time of the construction of Solomon’s Temple,
and a Master of a lodge of craftsmen in masonry. He was
supposedly murdered by 3 fellow craftsmen, Jubela, Jubelo and
Jubelum. (That sounds fishy for a start doesn’t it) These
three then suffered the same penalties they had taken upon
themselves - Jubela – his throat cut across; Jubelo –
his heart torn out; and Jubelum – bowels torn out and burnt
to ashes. Since then, the same penalties have been the standing
penalties for breaking the code of silence for the first 3
degrees of Freemasonry.
This illegal, control-spirit demand for sealed lips rivals
"omerta", the wellknown Mafia version. This has led to abuse,
especially in the legal system, where the law has been regularly
flouted, by Judges, Magistrates, Prosecutors and Senior Police,
who have had other Masons come to their attention because of
charges laid against them. In a Court of Law, the oaths of
Freemasonry demand that a Judge not convict a fellow Mason if the
judge is made aware of his connection with the brotherhood.
Hard to believe? Here’s the proof! Ronane writes in pg
103 of the "Handbook of Freemasonry." – "You must conceal
all crimes of your brother Masons...and should you be summoned as
a witness against a brother Mason be always sure to shield
him...It may be perjury to do this, it is true, but you’re
keeping your obligations."
I personally know of a sergeant of Police in a city I lived
in, a Catholic by denomination, who, in the act of following up
due process, frequently found active files of known Masonic Lodge
members going missing. He discovered that this was happening
through the actions of one of the senior officers in the
building, who was a Freemason. Over a period of time he caused a
lot of trouble by going back to the Police Station after normal
hours, and looking through the inactive archives for the missing
files. He always found them, and reinstated them to active. This
dangerous activity continued for some time until he was forcibly
transferred!
Some of the handshakes and signs of recognition between
Freemasons I now record for your interest. These are usually
given to the initiate once the oaths of each degree have been
spoken.
BOAZ This is the grip taught to the entered
apprentice. It is made by pressing the thumb against the top of
the first knuckle-joint of the fellow Mason. The fellow Mason
also presses his thumb against the first Mason’s
knuckle.
The name of this grip is "Boaz." When a candidate is imparted
with this grip its usage it is done in this manner. First the
Worshipful Master says to the candidate: "I now present my right
hand in token of friendship and brotherly love, and will invest
you with the grip and word. As you are uninstructed, he who has
hitherto answered for you, will do so at this time."
Masonic Altar
The Worshipful Master of the lodge then has this exchange with
the Senior Deacon, who is standing next to the candidate, who is
still kneeling at the altar, after having assumed the obligation
of this degree.
SHIBBOLETH The hand is taken as in an
ordinary hand shake, and the Mason presses the top of his thumb
against the space between the first and second knuckle joints of
the first two fingers of his fellow Mason; the fellow Mason also
presses his thumb on the corresponding part of the first
Mason’s hand.
The name of this grip is "Shibboleth." When a candidate is
imparted with this grip and its usage, it is done in this manner
- First, the Worshipful Master says to the candidate, "I now
present my right hand in token of the continuance of friendship
and brotherly love, and will invest you with the pass-grip,
pass-word, real grip and word of a Fellow Craft. As you are
uninstructed, he who has hitherto answered for you, will do so at
this time. Give me the grip of an Entered Apprentice."
As previously explained from the Entered Apprentice degree, he
then has this exchange with the Senior Deacon, who is standing
next to the candidate, who is still kneeling at the altar, after
having assumed the obligation of this degree.
JACHIN The Mason takes the fellow Mason by
the right hand as in an ordinary hand shake, and presses the top
of his thumb hard on the second knuckle, the fellow Mason presses
his thumb against the same knuckle of the first Mason’s
hand. At this point in the ritual, the instruction goes directly
from the pass grip to the real grip.
Scottish Rite Temple
MASON The Mason places his thumb on the space
between the second and third knuckles of the fellow Mason’s
right hand, while the fellow Mason moves his thumb to the
corresponding space on the first Masons hand. The thumb is
pressed hard between the second and third knuckles of the
hands.
The name of this grip is "Tubalcain." When a candidate is
imparted with this grip its usage it is done in this manner -
First, the Worshipful Master says to the candidate, "I now
present my right hand in token of the continuance of friendship
and brotherly love, and will invest you with the pass-grip and
pass-word of a Master Mason. As you are uninstructed, he who has
hitherto answered for you, will do so at this time. Give me the
real grip of a Fellow Craft."
Inside Chamber
As explained from the preceding degrees, he then has this
exchange with the Senior Deacon, who is standing next to the
candidate, who is still kneeling at the altar, after having
assumed the obligation of this degree.
MASTER MASON The Mason firmly grasps the
right hand of a fellow Mason. The thumbs of both hands are
interlaced. The first Mason presses the tops of his fingers
against the wrist of the fellow Mason where it unites with the
hand. The fellow Mason at the same time presses his fingers
against the corresponding part of the first Mason’s hand
and the fingers of each are somewhat apart. This grip is also
called the "Strong Grip of the Master Mason" or the "Lion’s
Paw." Instruction for this grip is given at the "graveside",
after the candidate has been "raised."
Speaking to the candidate, the Worshipful Master says, "My
Brother, I will now instruct you as to the manner of arriving at
the real grip and word of a Master Mason. As you are
uninstructed, he who has hitherto answered for you will do so at
this time. Give me the pass-grip of a Master Mason."
The Bible teaches that out of the mouths of 2 or 3 witnesses
shall ALL THINGS be established. Here then are some quotes to
finish this series and settle once and for all that Freemasonry
is underpinned by devilish, antichrist philosophy, that serves to
place people in spiritual bondage, so the end result is not hope
in Christ but a lost eternity in hellfire and damnation –
not the place any of us would wish to see our loved ones!
CHARLES G FINNEY One of the all-time great
Preachers and servants of the Lord. Finney left Freemasonry in
1826, and subsequently wrote a pamphlet with the title "Why I
Left Freemasonry." Here is part of this pamphlet quoted –
"… in taking these oaths, I had been greatly deceived and
imposed upon. Indeed I came to the deliberate conclusion that my
oaths had been procured by fraud and misrepresentations; that the
institution was in no respect what I had been informed it was,
and … it has become more irresistibly plain to me that
Masonry is highly dangerous to the State, and in every way
injurious to the Body of Christ."
JOHN QUINCY ADAMS 6th President of the USA,
wrote in 1833, "I do conscientiously and sincerely believe that
the Order of Freemasonry, if not the greatest, is one of the
greatest moral and political evils under which the Union is now
labouring… A conspiracy of the few against the rights of
many…. I am prepared to complete the demonstration before
God and man, that the Masonic oath, obligations and penalties
cannot by any possibility be reconciled to the laws of morality,
of Christianity, or of the land."
Now let’s hear what those on the inside of Freemasonry
have got to say in rebuttal (sorry – there is none, just
agreement!) Read on –
ALBERT PIKE The most revered Mason of all
time, on pg 819 of "Morals and Dogma" says, "…the Blue
Degrees are but the outer court of portico of the Temple. Part of
the symbols are displayed there to the Initiate, but he is
intentionally led by false information. It is not intended that
he understands them. Their true explications are for the adepts,
the Princes of Masonry."
Page 104 of the same book, which incidentally, is only given
to those who reach the 14th degree, says that Masonry conceals
its secrets from all except the Adepts, Sages and Elect, and uses
false explanations and misinterpretations of its symbols to
mislead those who only deserve to be misled. Presumably, that
means all the initiates below the 14th degree who have been
"suckered in" by the Masonic lie.
Pike, obviously a servant of satan, reveals all in pg 321 by
saying, "..Lucifer, the Light Bearer! …It is he who bears
the light … Doubt it not. In part 1, you will find this
man also gave permission to those of the 30th degree and above to
receive the final secret that "Lucifer IS God!" This doctrinal
claim is also taken up in the next quote.
MANLY HALL was the leading Masonic
philosopher of the 20th century. He wrote, "When the Mason learns
that the key to the warrior on the block is the proper
application of the dynamo of living power, he has learned the
mystery of his Craft. The seething energies of Lucifer are in his
hands… "To you Sovereign Inspectors General, we say this,
that you may repeat it to the brethren of the 30th, 31st and 32nd
degrees – the Masonic Religion should be, by all of us
initiates of the high degrees, maintained in the purity of the
Luciferian Doctrine."
That is pure witchcraft – no more – no less. Even
though many of the following traditional Churches have got caught
up in Freemasonry, they have nevertheless, spoken out against it,
and we record some of these warnings here.
Catholics – 8 Popes have excommunicated
Masons from the Catholic Church. Leo XIII said, "the Freemasons
real aim is to persecute Christianity with untamed
hatred…" John Paul II said in 1983, "You cannot be a
Catholic and a Mason."
Lutherans – Masonry amounts to
idolatry.
Baptists – Various leaders have
denounced masonry as "an ungodly brotherhood of satanic
darkness."
Church of England – The 1987 General
Synod declared that there were a number of fundamental reasons to
question the compatibility of Freemasonry with Christianity.
Methodists – 1985 General Assembly
said, "There is a great danger that the Christian who becomes a
Freemason will find himself compromising his Christian beliefs.
Methodists should not become Masons."
Presbyterians – 1942 General Assembly
– "Masonry is a religious institution and as such is
definitely anti-Christian."
It is hard to believe that Freemasonry has prospered so well
in the developed world. Perhaps snobbery, elitism, secret signs,
brotherhood, family support, social acceptance, and other things
have beguiled many into stepping into something they knew nothing
about, and for many, still don’t!! A very short list
follows, which shows how pervasive this Craft has been in
capturing the membership of so many well-known people.
