Mind Emails

Amid health authority warnings on the dangers of young people
being overexposed to radiation from mobile phones, the Education
Department in NZ is wrestling with students’ inappropriate
use of mobiles during school time (notwithstanding the
implications of diminishing spelling and verbal communication
skills).

In the current world of cutting edge technology, particularly
in the field of mobile phones, palm tops and wireless circuitry,
it is reckoned that within twenty years it will all be gone
– old hat. Communications, like sending emails and
performing financial transactions, will be a matter of mind over
wireless.

Chip implant developers VeriChip Corporation are supplying
their implant technology into all sorts of industries, from Beach
Clubs, for VIP members to clock up drinks (via an implant in
their arm), to security (employee access into and around company
buildings) and defence (global identification and tracking).

Melbourne newspaper, The Age 14.04.05 reports that
"Already two scientists have chips embedded under their skin
that lets them send emails just by thinking". Imagine
teachers of the future trying to control this type of
technology?

The media as we know it will have changed so dramatically that
old timers (like you and I) will find it hard to find a
‘paper’ newspaper to read or broadcast television to
view.

In the natural sense, there is nothing we can do to halt or
reverse the technological trends which will takes us directly to
the Revelation 13 ‘mark of the beast’ system. Our
role as believers is not to fight the system, but to warn people
of the system and make preparation for the return of the King of
Kings. Revelation 15:2 provides an apocalyptic picture of a time
not too far away now - "And I saw something like a sea of
glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the
beast, over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of
his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of
God."

Verse 3 goes on to say that the over-comers sing the song of
Moses…a song which has been sung for many generations
– signifying deliverance from Egypt and slavery through to
the return of Messiah. Many of us who are watching are already
humming the tune.
