Big trouble ahead – are you prepared?

Joel 3:2 I will also gather
all nations, and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat;
and I will enter into judgment with them there on account of My
people, My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the
nations; they have also divided up My land. (NKJ)

As if the world is not in BIG
trouble with God already on account of its treatment of Israel
and the Jewish people and the current fixation the world has to
divide and give God's land to people who have no legitimate right
to it, the rhetoric coming from the UN and EC over the last 2
weeks is bringing the world face to face confrontation with
the Holy One of Israel aka "The
Consuming Fire" (Deuteronomy 4:24, Hebrews 12:29). The
Lord's patience with the ungodly of the world must surely be at
its end. Look out world !

As I reported last week someone in
the United Nations leaked a paper suggesting that the UN made a
mistake in 1948 when they granted Israel statehood, and that
perhaps it would be easier to declare the state of Israel an
illegitimate entity and remove the 5 million plus Jewish
residents, a small price to pay for world peace and continuing
oil supplies. Then a few days later the majority of EU leadership
pronounced that Israel is a bigger threat to world peace than
Iran, an absolutely ridiculous statement illuminating the
strongly anti-Semitic hearts of these world leaders. On Friday
last, the Jerusalem Post reported that in Holland, which has been
the most Israel and Jewish friendly European nation, the tide has
turned and now many Dutch people are turning against Israel. The
article laid the blame for the dramatic change of heart in
Holland at the feet of the international news media who
constantly make Israel out to be the cause and the aggressor in
the Middle East. The world is being deceived by Satan to take
over where Hitler left off. This is not an exaggeration!

I continually monitor the news
media for reports like these of growing anti-Semitism and anti
Israel activity. The reason I feel the need to be aware of
current situation, is that a major part of our ministry is to
ensure that the small but precious pro-Israel sector of the
Church is also fully aware of the current situation. You need to
be fully aware so that you are prepared yourself, so that you
know where we are in the scheme of things and can then
effectively fulfil the command to " Prepare the Way of the Lord".
Also we believe that God's will is that the Church of the last
days before Messiah's return, be a 'Ruth' Church, a true friend
of Israel.

On one hand this trend is of great
concern for us here in Israel as it should be for all Jews living
in Europe and in the other nations. We are witnessing a repeat of
the rise of a hatred against the Jewish people that was last seen
in Germany in the early 1930's. However on the other hand it
should actually be an encouragement to all those who are
anxiously awaiting the return of Messiah Yeshua, as we have been
told that when we see these things coming to pass, we should look
up because our redemption is drawing very close. (Luke 21:21 -28)

What we are witnessing today all
around the world in respect to Israel and the Jews looks like a
very precise fulfilment of the prophecy in Zechariah 12:2-3
"And it shall happen in that day that I will make
Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave
it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the
earth are gathered against it." (NKJ) That is a
serious warning that should not be ignored - the consequences
will be horrific for the nations that continue on this path to
take Jerusalem. Zechariah 12:4 "In that day," says
the LORD, "I will strike every horse with confusion, and its
rider with madness; I will open My eyes on the house of Judah,
and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.

The anti Israel world better watch
out for they are about to be attacked…

Zechariah 14:2-4 For I
will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; ... Then
the LORD will go forth and fight against those nations, as He
fights in the day of battle. I am sure who will be
the victor!

But the final outcome is the one
we are all waiting for - well some of us anyway. As the
well-known song, the Days of Elijah goes, Yeshua will come,
riding on the clouds, shining like the sun... Zechariah 14:2-4
And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of
Olives, which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of
Olives shall be split in two, from east to west, making a very
large valley; half of the mountain shall move toward the north
and half of it toward the south. (NKJ)

We need to be prepared for our own
sake and for the sake of our family and friends, and we need to
be found working, being good and faithful servants, working with
God as He completes the resurrection of Israel - the land and the
people. Hastening the day of the Lord's coming (2 Peter 3:12)

as you prepare you own way so that you can help PREPARE THE WAY
OF THE LORD as you prophetically and boldly stand in the gap for
Israel at this strategic time.
