Tips for use of Omega Times after you have read it
What do you do with your copy of
the Omega Times when you’ve finished reading it? If
you’re struggling for ideas, maybe some of our tips below
will be of assistance.
· Light your fire with
it
· Swat flies with it
· Line the bird cage
· Use it as an umbrella
(Only good for one-off use as portable shelter)
· Paper mache with the
kids
· A survival blanket
· Cut holes in it and use
it to spy on someone
· Use it to steady or level
a table
· Draft stop
· A play thing for the dog
or cat.
· Make a sailors hat
· Recycle as an Origami
resource (Japanese art of paper folding)
Alternatively, you could:
· Give it away to family
members to read.
· Take it to work and leave
it in the smoko room.
· Leave it on the seat of
your taxi or bus.
· Late at night sneak over
to the neighbours and place it in the letterbox. Each month
choose a different neighbour or practise on the same one.
· Drop it on the pile of
newspapers at your favourite café.
· Leave it in the doctors
or dentists waiting room.
· Send it to your pen
pal
· Mail it to prisons
· Give it to the local
second hand bookshop.
Though a light hearted start, a
simple act of faith as outlined in the bottom nine points could
be all the difference required to make a difference in a
person’s life. Isaiah 55:11 “So shall my word be that
goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void,
but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper
in the thing whereto I sent it.”
