EU Final World Empire

Some of the major denominations in Britain, particularly the
Church of England, acknowledge the pope as the leader of Christianity, while
all-things-to-all-people Alpha courses, a sort of nourishment-free fast-food
Christianity, are held across most denominations. Catholics go through the
course and emerge the other side still Catholics, despite the fact that many of
the main Catholic doctrines go against the teachings of our Lord. Archbishop of
Canterbury George Carey has been in regular unity talks with the pope and says
he has "come to love and admire the Catholic Church." This is the church
that for hundreds of years, until relatively recently, had the Bible on its list
of banned books and whose priests are regularly charged with child abuse.

These have to be the end times; God will not for much longer
put up with this vile rubbish. If Sodom and Gomorra were destroyed, why should
San Francisco be spared? These two ancient cities are a warning that God's
Word is not vague or woolly in any way. God means what He says when He condemns
homosexuality and today's so called "Christian homosexuals" should take
note and change their wicked ways while there is yet time.

Before the vileness goes, the vilest man of all is set to
appear: Antichrist. Hitler was a type of Antichrist, as was Alexander the Great.
But their infamous deeds, and those of the wickedest men of history, will pale
before what the final Antichrist, the Antichrist of Revelation, will do. He will
try to counterfeit Christ, so will be part of an unholy trinity, with Satan the
counterfeit father. There will be a false prophet playing the role of the Holy
Spirit - this will possibly be the pope of the day, the leader of all the world's
false religions rolled into one gigantic whore church, preaching blasphemies.

The false prophet will try to get people to worship
Antichrist, the man described in Genesis 3:15 as the seed of Satan and in
Revelation 11:7 as the beast. His other names in the Bible indicate aspects of
his character, but we will call him Antichrist, which literally means "in
place of Christ." Whereas Jesus was offered and declined the kingdoms of the
world when He was tempted in the wilderness, Satan will offer his chosen one the
kingdoms--and he will accept. This will be bad news for the world for a period
of seven dreadful years, the seven years of the Great Tribulation, the worst
time in the history of the world.

Who is the Antichrist? He may well be on the earth today,
waiting in the wings of the world scene for his moment of destiny. He will have
Roman origins, according to Daniel 9:26-27:

And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off,
but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy
the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto
the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm the covenant
with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the
sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations
he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined
shall be poured upon the desolate.

The "he" in the verse twenty-seven is the prince who is
to come--Antichrist--and "the city" was destroyed by the Romans in A.D 70,
so that will be Antichrist's nationality. Incidentally, the founding document
of the European Union is called the Treaty of Rome. The messianic Jewish Bible
teacher Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum develops the theme of the origin of Antichrist,
including his part supernatural origin, as he is spawned by Satan in person, in
a booklet called The Rise and Fall of Antichrist.

We also learn from Daniel 9:27 that Antichrist will be the
man who signs a seven-year peace treaty with Israel, presumably on behalf of the
European superstate which he will then be heading. This signals the start of the
Tribulation. True Christians will not be here then; we will have been raptured
prior to this event. There is no mention of the church in biblical accounts of
the Tribulation. There are Tribulation saints, but these are people converted after
the Rapture. The numeric value of Antichrist's name will add up to 666--the
mark of the beast. Until this peace treaty is signed, the Tribulation cannot
begin, so those who teach that we have somehow passed through it without
noticing and are now in the thousand-year reign of Christ have some explaining
to do. Incidentally, in the thousand-year-reign Satan is bound, so if we are now
in the millennium, as many teach, Satan must be on a pretty long chain!
