Keep me safe from Who/What?

"Either you are with us or you are with the terrorists"
George Bush - in his famous speech to Congress (and the world) when he declared
'War on terrorism'. But where are the terrorists? What are they going to do
next?

At least one lady who lost her husband on 09/11 is attempting
to sue global terrorism. Who she is going to sue and how is she going to do it
is anybody's guess? "They started the fight and we're going to finish it"
said Ellen Saracini. Only in America!

Meanwhile, in the light of the arrests of many suspected
terrorists in the US and around the globe, it is becoming clear that most
terrorist networks are made up of a small number of masterminds, who are able to
inspire hordes of gullible followers to go out and perform senseless and often
downright stupid acts.

Over the past 12 months thousands of Arabs, amongst others,
have been detained on very minor charges. Unfortunately, few of the many arrests
boast the capture of the big fish. Osama Bin Laden is apparently back at the
helm, if Middle Eastern television footage is anything to go by. No eye-witness
reports have verified the sightings of Militant Islams favourite son however,
and as President George Bush has stated "He [Bin Laden] is not leading a lot
of parades".

Keep in mind that there are those who believe Bin Laden, who
increased in infamy following 'his' strategically effective attacks on the
US, may be just a front man. I am a believer in this school of thought.

So who is the Mr Big in all of this -– the driver of Global
terrorism? Theories range from Saudi oil giants to the USA's own CIA.

Look what we found in the backyard!

It's interesting to note that amidst tightened border
security, and threats of international retaliation and intervention, we have a
small issue percolating in our domestic back yards. 'The network' as it is
termed, has been establishing itself for many years. Like an octopus, it has
tentacles which reach into very ordinary sectors of our societies. So our
terrorist enemy is well camouflaged and may be sitting next to us at work. Then
we have the more obvious:

The Press, 20 August 2002, "Missiles seized -–

Federal agents have seized more than 2300 unregistered
missiles at a counter-terrorism school in New Mexico that was training students
from Arab countries and arrested its Canadian leader.

Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) agents found
49 crates of armour-piercing missiles and believe there are about another 1814kg
of munitions at the school that had clients from Yemen and the United Arab
Emirates.

CNN television quoted ATF agent Tom Mangan as saying there
was no reason to think that the arrested Canadian, David Hudak, had any ties to
terrorist groups such as al Qaeda."

I wonder how many other ammo dumps around the US are under
the control of hostile forces?

Henry Kissinger's words -– prophetic?

On May 21, 1992 Henry Kissinger made a statement during a
Bilderberger meeting in Evian France which reflects some understanding of the
current threat facing the world of an unseen enemy. "Today Americans would be
outraged if UN troops entered Los Angeles to restore order; tomorrow we will be
grateful! This is especially true if they were told there was an outside threat
from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatens our very existence. It
is then that all peoples of the world will pledge with world leaders to deliver
them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When
presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished
for the guarantee of their well being granted to them by their world government".

Japan has not forgotten...

A passionate statement was made by the mayor of Hiroshima
Tadatoshi Akiba at the anniversary of the world's first atomic bombing on
August 06, 1945. Referring to Washington's 'go it alone stance' Akiba said
"America has not been given the right to impose a 'Pax Americana' and to
decide the fate for the world. Rather, we the people of the world have the right
to insist that we have not given you the authority to destroy the world" Press
07.08.02.

Prophetic scenario...

One thing is certain from prophecy regarding the end times
-– the dominant military and political power in the world will not be
America! We will witness the demise of the greatest single political power
on earth, and the rise of the European and Mediterranean power base.

I believe God will take care of His people within the USA
because of their faithfulness to world missions over many years and support of
the Jewish people. He is a God of covenant.
