Earth Summit emissions

Readers of our monthly paper will probably be aware that we
regard KYOTO and the Greenhouse Gas deal as a giant scam.

This article from the Daily Telegraph in London dated
4 June 2002 gave us a good chuckle.

"The 60,000 delegates to the Earth Summit in Johannesburg
will produce the same volume of greenhouse gases through air flights, ground
transport and hotel pollution as would half a million ordinary Africans in a
year...

The emissions... will produce nearly 500,000 tons of carbon
dioxide.

This is the amount produced annually by 44,000 Britons or
450,000 Africans..."

Will this fact cause them to call off their conference. Oh
no!! We must continue on with our over-seas trips mustn't we?

Where was it I read, "The heart is deceitful above all
things and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the Lord..."
