More power for Europe

To this point in history the United States has been a world
leader in almost every field, yet now after the attacks on the World Trade
Center on September 11, 2001, it is clear to see Biblical prophecy being
fulfilled in the transfer of power from America to Brussels. We now read from
the Melbourne Age newspaper, March 2, 2002: "Brussels flexes muscles in
bid to give Europe more political clout...

A historic convention on the future of Europe has been
launched with bold calls for a 'constitutional treaty' and deeper
integration to transform the European Union into a global force matching the
United States.

The president of the 105-strong gathering, Valery Giscard d'Estaing,
left no doubt in his inaugural address on Thursday that his mission is to draft
a blueprint establishing the powers of Brussels once and for all...

He added: 'In order to avoid any disagreement over
semantics, let us agree now to call it a constitutional treaty for Europe.'

The gathering, modelled on the 1787 Philadelphia Convention
of America's Founding Fathers, has the task of reforming the EU's
outdated institutions to cope with the arrival of 10 new members in 2004, and
further waves of enlargement...

It has a mandate to explore ideas for an EU foreign
minister and an elected European Commission president and will consider giving
the European Parliament full legislative powers. It will also examine ways
of incorporating the Charter of Fundamental Rights into law.

Mr Giscard d'Estaing said the convention must bind
Europe together into a force that could stand up to the United States..."
(emphases added).

It is of note that the European Union is moving inexorably
towards the fulfilment of the Scriptures found in Revelation chapter 17. With a
two-tier community and the inner tier made up of ten, we now read from Revelation 17:12-13,17:

"And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which
have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the
beast."

Verse 13: "These have one mind, and shall give their power
and strength unto the beast."

Verse 17: "For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his
will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of
God shall be fulfilled."

It is very clear that the European president who will finally
take over, will be known in prophetic language as the beast, the Anti Christ,
the man of sin or the son of perdition, and will have the same devil in him that
drove Judas Iscariot many years ago.

There is no doubt, we are living in the last days as the
final world empire comes together and prepares to elect their leader for
ultimate world control.

Therefore we say, goodbye America, hello Europe.
