A deformed Earth
An interesting scripture found in Isaiah 24:19-20 reads
thus: "The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the
earth is moved exceedingly." Verse 20: "The earth shall reel to and fro
like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression
thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again."
(emphasis added).
The earth on which we live is a very wonderful creation of
Almighty God and it was Mr Bruce Cathie, our friend who lives in Auckland, the
author of books on harmonics, tells us that:
"The earth is simply a huge magnet, a dynamo wound with
magnetic lines of force as its coils (eddy currents) counted to be 1,257 to the
cm2 in one direction, and 1,850 to the cm2 in the other direction...
It now appears that the magnetic field's strengths and
areas change in conjunction with the light and gravity factors according to the
change in the latitude of the earth's surface. During these changes, the
harmonic relationships remain constant."
Now because very little is known about the earth from the
writings of true scientists, we are interested to read this article taken from
the NZ Herald, 20 December 2001:
"Earth's sphere being stretched -– Snow, ice and frost
are deforming the shape of the Earth. Scientists have discovered that it is
slowly stretching so that the North Pole is heading towards the centre of the
world and the Equator is migrating northward.
The Earth is experiencing seasonal 'stretching' in
response to increased winter loading of the ground and corresponding atmospheric
and gravitational changes.
'As a result, compression and expansion in opposite
hemispheres occurs. It does not change the Earth's overall shape, but
stretches its surface and so affects site co-ordinates,' said Professor
Geoffrey Blewitt of the University of Nevada, Reno, who reported the find with
colleagues in the journal Science.
By studying data from the global positioning system of
satellites, they found that the Earth deforms without changing. The discovery
'amazed us, but we delved into the theory of the Earth's response to the
weight of surface loading and the maths tell us how this is possible', said
Professor Blewitt. Imagine taking a balloon in the perfect shape of a sphere,
then squeezing one half of it so it compresses that half and the opposite half
expands.
'There is a way to do this so that the balloon ends up
being spherical (the same shape), but one half of the surface is compressed, and
the other side stretched,' he said.
These factors combine to compress the Northern Hemisphere and
expand the Southern Hemisphere..." (emphasis added).
In the book of Matthew 24:5-8, we read the signs that our
Lord Jesus Christ gave us regarding the end times:
"For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and
shall deceive many."
"And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars:
see that ye be not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but
the end is not yet."
"For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom
against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and
earthquakes, in divers places." (emphasis added).
"All these are the beginning of sorrows."
It has been said wisely that there are no atheists in an
earthquake, and thus the country of New Zealand where this writer lives, has
escaped to this point, but be sure of this, that we are living as many others do
on the earthquake belt of the world, and when God wants to get our attention,
there is no better way known to man.
We feel that the earth reeling to and fro like a drunken man
is a very apt description of what happens when an earthquake takes place, and
therefore to all readers of this newspaper, we recommend you warn your friends
and relations that the things which are taking place worldwide today are not
natural but supernatural, and it is God speaking to us, saying, "Get ready,
get ready, the Kingdom of God is about to be born on earth as our Lord and
Saviour Jesus Christ returns.
It was He who said, "If I go away, I will come again."
