Dear Ed

I enjoy your magazine very much, especially as we move closer
to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Prophetic events are happening at a
breathtaking pace. With no offence intended, I do believe from my understanding
of Ezekiel 38 & 39 and Zechariah 14 that a total global Government is an
impossibility. There appears to be a group of nations hostile to Israel and the
West, with Russia at it's head, which Christ utterly destroys in that great
war called the battle of Armageddon. Jesus said Himself that Satan cannot
prevail if his kingdom is divided against itself. Following the logic, there
appears to be a buying up of public assets, and smaller companies merging into
bigger companies, but the concept of an overall world Government is flawed
especially when we know that the world is going to be thrown into WW3 just
before Christs return. How can a One World Govt go to war against itself? I don't
believe this is a complex situation, you can see that Europe (East and West) is
unifying and taking Russia with her, and any other country that's foolish
enough to go with her. America and Britain appear to be giving up sovereignty to
European laws, in time I believe that Britain will pull away from Europe and
look to it's old trading partners ie the Commonwealth. At this time there are
many spanners being thrown into the works - like Mad Cow Disease, and the latest
Kyoto Accord which is driving a wedge between the East and the English speaking
countries. There are huge cultural differences....God has a plan to draw all

Dear Peter

I agree that it is unrealistic to think that true 'unity'
can be established in the Global Village -– the type of unity Satan establishes
is 'always flawed'. It's like a reflection of his own lack of loyalty and
team spirit. However, temporarily, we will see the unity of political expedience
played out...no, not 'everybody' will buy in to the master plan! See
Revelation 6:8 "And power was given unto them over the 'fourth part' of
the earth..." It is clear therefore that you are correct in the supposition
that there will not be time to take over the entire world!

When those in the seats of power (who control the commodities
of oil and food) say 'dance' -– most will tow the party line, at least
until they find opportunity to rebel...the Scripture's talk about Nation
rising up against Nation...instability plus! Thanks for your thoughts Ed.

Dear Ed

Benny Hinn when appearing on TV uses hand signals to get
viewers to send money in his direction. I know of several pastors who try to
emulate him. In 2 Peter 1-4 God warns us about false teachers who deny the
Sovereign Lord. They are motivated by a desire for money and will commercialise
the Christian faith to their own selfish advantage. "In their greed they will
exploit you will stories they have made up". Some churches use gimmicks, like
gold, or perform to gain publicity, or show a concern for animal spirituality. V's
10 "they are bold and arrogant" V's 12 "they are like brute beasts,
creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed, and like beasts
they too will perish". 1 Cor 10:21-22 "You cannot drink the cup of the Lord
and the cup of demons too..." Are we trying to arouse the Lords jealousy? Is
Benny Hinn or Churches that have end time delusions eg. Gold rush...stronger
than God? The New Age movement will keep reinventing itself, in line with the
system and the spirit it represents, until the very end. However, God will have

We are told to 'test the spirits to see whether they be of
God' -– I will not comment further on this issue, everybody must be convinced
in their own mind. Ed

Dear Ed

I'd just like to share a theory with you. Remember the Oslo
Accords which were first formulated on the 13 September 1993? And the deadline
for this resolution was to be 13 September 2000. I find it extraordinary that it
is seven years exactly -– especially when we look at the seven year covenant of
Daniel chapter 9. Could this be a shadow of the anti-Christ peace treaty to
come? Halfway through this shadow peace treaty we had potential disaster with
riots when the Israeli's made the tunnel alongside the Temple Mount in 1996.
Shades of an abomination according to the Muslims? On Sept 28 2000 Ariel Sharon
went to the Temple Mount and the Intifada reignited. Shades of a Messianic
figure at the end of the seven years? Could it be this past seven year covenant
was Satan's, to pre-empt the return of Christ. Satan's apocalypse was to
climax on the year 2000 assisted by the Millenium bug. I find these events worth

Dear Ian

Very interesting -– there are numerous shadows or types
which occur within the prophetic realm. According to Rabbinical Midrash, shadows
or types can be used to illuminate and help illustrate a definite prophetic
thought, but cannot be built upon doctrinally...definitely worth contemplating.
